Photographs of a bride who had an emotional 'first look' photo shoot with her brother have gone viral because they are so touching.

Ashley Sedar, 30, was set to marry her partner Brian Sedar, also 30, in New York and was intrigued by the idea of a 'first look,' where typically the husband-to-be sees the bride in her dress for the first time and it's caught on camera.

However, Ashley didn't want to do it with her husband, as she wanted him to first see her when she was walking down the aisle.

Instead, Ashley chose to do it with her brother Nick Rice who has Down's Syndrome, and was a groomsman on her big day. And it proved seriously emotional.

According to Insider, when the 28-year-old first caught a glimpse of his sister dressed all in white he said she was "the most indescribable person in the world".

Sharing the pictures on Facebook, the photographer Kelsey Watroba said: "Before the ceremony, these two carved out a moment to spend together. And it was so special and pure.

"Nick had some very heartfelt thoughts to share with his sister. When I tell you, that there was not a dry eye in the room... oh yes I was right along with them in tears."

So cute.

Later in the day, Nick went on to give an emotional speech at the wedding reception, too.

It was an emotional day all round, especially because Nick is so close to his sister, when she got engaged he was conflicted with his feelings as he felt happy for her, but also that he might be losing his sister.

"I could tell that when we got engaged, he was struggling with these feelings of loving Brian and being really happy that Brian was going to be my husband and then also dealing with the stress of losing me," Ashley told Insider.

But he eventually came around. So when it came to deciding who to do the 'first look' with, it soon became apparent she should choose her brother.

It was the right decision, because it made for seriously emosh pictures with the pair tearing up and hugging each other.

And whilst it was a lovely moment for them, it was a huge hit across the internet too with 14,000 people sharing the photos so far.

We love that Ashley decided to put her own spin on the tradition with such a wonderful outcome.
