People Are Grossed Out By David Beckham's Bangers And Mash

Lockdown has led to us eating some rather questionable food combinations, as we throw everything in the cupboard onto our plates and hope for the best.

But, we've never stooped quite so low as David Beckham who paired bangers and mash (fine) with *wait for it* coleslaw. And beans.

David, 44, took to his social media to 'show off' his dinner - and fans were absolutely horrified.

"Simple pleasures, bangers and mash. Oh and the coleslaw."

On the plate, three sausages could be seen sitting on a bed of mash, smothered in gravy. But on either side of the mash, David has paired his dish with half a tub of coleslaw on one side and beans on the other.

There's something about the creamy coleslaw curdling in the gravy that we honestly just cannot stomach...

Writing on Twitter, one said: "I am not happy about how David Beckham eats bangers and mash. Coleslaw?! But worse - coleslaw and gravy touching and MIXING."

While another wrote: "David Beckham has coleslaw, beans and gravy on his bangers and mash and I've never been more confused about my feelings."

Another wanted to know if David was okay, asking: "Quite offended by the fact David Beckham has coleslaw and baked beans with his bangers, mash and gravy [...] you feeling okay hun?"

David appears to be locked down in the Cotswolds with wife Victoria and their four children (excluding Brooklyn) - Romeo, 17, Cruz, 15 and Harper, 8.

It's tricky times, but it seems this meal isn't a lockdown concoction. It appears this is actually out of choice and could actually be something David eats on the regular.

David also finished off the meal with a few slices of Viennetta ice cream, which he said he only used to get on 'special occasions' when he was a kid.

We know we shouldn't knock it until we've tried it, but while we *might* be able to get our heads around the beans, the coleslaw just has to go. Sorry, David.
