Lou Teasdale, the best friend of presenter Caroline Flack, who died in February, has posted a sweet tribute to the late presenter.

Hairstylist and make up artist Lou shared a couple of throwback photos of the Love Island presenter on Instagram, with the heartfelt caption: "6 months without you. I miss you." and a red heart emoji.

Lou then pleaded with her followers to: "Look after your friends x."

The first photo shows Lou sitting on the back of a sofa taking a selfie, with Caroline just behind her.

A second pic shows the two sitting together on a bed, arm in arm and smiling at each other.

Caroline was just 40 when she took her own life earlier this year.

The inquest into the presenter's death resumed resumed this month. In a witness statement, Lou's dad Stephen Teasdale, said he went to Caroline's flat after her sister Jody said she couldn't get inside.

He said: "We came to the flat and tried to force entry. We thought about phoning the police but knew the landlady... We got the key and let ourselves into the flat."

"I brought her [down] and Jody started CPR. We were giving CPR for somewhere between five and ten minutes, then the police took over."

The Coroner ruled a verdict of suicide, saying: "I am entirely satisfied she intended to cause her own death. She hanged herself.

"I find the reason for her taking her life was she now knew she was being prosecuted for certainty, and she knew she would face the media, press, publicity - it would all come down upon her. To me, that's it in essence."
