"Need a nice dark room to get a good night's sleep? Yep, so do we," the description reads. "That's why we love this pair of blackout curtains. They're fully lined to keep light out, making sure you get a decent rest all year round. We've chosen an eyelet header to give them soft, wide folds and for ease of installation.

"There's no fiddling required with eyelets, simply slot them onto the curtain pole and you're done."

The curtains racked up a pretty decent average score of 4.2 out of 5 (

With thousands of reviews, the curtains have racked up a pretty decent average score of 4.2 out of 5, with many raving about their ability to fully block out any light creeping in from the window. Others disagreed, however, with some admitting they returned them straight away.

Despite the mixed opinions, one person in particular found the curtains very useful.

Writing the review under the name 'justbeinghonest', the anonymous reviewer explained: "These blackout curtains are great, especially when you wake up next to someone you wish you hadn't, you can't see anything."

The hilarious review was shared on Reddit where users couldn't stop laughing.

"Wasn’t expecting to read this in the curtain reviews," said the poster.

While another Reddit user said: "The age makes it." And another added: "Not to pre-judge but I firmly believe that due to the age, the 'someone' they wish they hadn't woken up next to is their husband/wife."

And another said: "I can never work out if Argos reviews are all satire or if the people who write Argos reviews are genuinely like that."

We defo had a giggle at this one!
