Over the last few months, eczema sufferers across the country have reported lockdown flare-ups. But now, one woman has found a £17 cream which she's hailed as a "miracle" for "curing" her lockdown-induced eczema.

Teacher Megan Underwood, 25, explained she tried everything to ease the condition, before she came across the MooGoo product.

The skincare brand launched the cream in March and it's worked wonders on Megan's painful eczema.

The secondary school teacher said: "With any anxious or stressful period of my life, my skin plays up. It can get extremely dry and flaky when I am stressed or anxious.

"Almost overnight my skin, which was under control, began to spiral out of control. Mostly on my face and neck my skin began blotchy, tight and sore.

"The skin around my nose, eyes and ears split open and the skin on the back of my legs. It was awful as I knew if my skin split and became infected I could require hospital treatment, which then meant I would be potentially exposing myself to catching coronavirus in hospital."

Megan explained she first discovered MooGoo products a few years ago, after going through a particularly difficult phase.

"I really believe MooGoo products have helped save my life," she said.

"I was in a really dark place with my eczema and felt so down and low about myself. All I ever wanted to be since I was a little girl was a teacher. But, with my skin the way it was, I couldn't bear the thought of people looking at me.

"During one of my flare ups I have been asked if I'm a burns victims which did really affect my confidence.

"I think because eczema is a common skin condition that it is often dismissed by others as not being serious but it can take a huge toll on your mental health as it's so uncomfortable to live with.

"As my eczema is over my face and neck it's impossible to hide and make-up makes it appear even worse.

"I cannot rave about this cream enough. MooGoo Eczema cream, which I have been using for a mere week, has been a blessing in reducing redness and calming down my inflamed skin.

"I hope my story raises awareness for the condition and highlights how great the brand MooGoo is."

Thanks to the cream, Megan's skin is under control and she's looking forward to being reunited with her fiancé, Adam, 24, who works at a bank as a key worker. They haven't been able to see each other since lockdown started.

She added: "We have been watching films together virtually but now my skin isn't so sore and susceptible to infection we can actually see each other soon which will be lovely."
