We hope you're not tucking into your tea as you read this...one woman has been left stunned after doctors recovered an object that had been stuck in her ear for 22 years.

Truly, this is grim.

In a viral TikTok video that has since racked up 65,000 likes, 26-year-old Jordan explained she went to the doctors to flush out her ears after suffering from a heavy cold.

And while doing the procedure, medical professionals managed to extract a grey and mangled piece of tube that had been stuck in Jordan's body since 1999.

Jordan, who's based in the United States, went on to explain that when she was younger, she had tubes inserted into her ears for drainage - something fairly standard practise when young children regularly suffer from infections.

But while the tubes are typically expected to fall out by themselves, one of Jordan's tubes remained stuck - and had become entirely encased in a thick and deep layer of wax.

Showing the small tube to her camera, Jordan joked: "I had no idea it was possible to hear this well!"

Naturally, the video - which has over 700,000 views - left people grossed out and stunned in equal measure.

"Oh my God they were gooed in there," one person commented.

A second added: "Omg, I need to get mine removed!" (We really hope that one was a joke!)

While a third said: "I was told mine had fallen out. Now I'm super worried!"

In other TikTok news which is slightly less stomach turning, one woman has found the ultimate and instant love-bite cure.

We're not going to lie, it's been an awful long time since someone's given us a hickey - but for those of us partial to a bit of skin sucking, it appears using a whisk can help the red marks fade away.

You can read more about that here.
