You Can Now Do A Hocus Pocus Dance Workout

Whether we're snapping up Yankee Candle's campfire candles or sipping on a s'mores flavoured drink, we're happy to be welcoming in Halloween season.

A horror movie-themed sleepover is a must - but for when we need to wake up, we'll be doing this amazing Hocus Pocus-themed cardio routine by fitness instructor and choreographer Joseph Corella.

Yep, you can now channel everyone's favourite witchy trio the Sanderson Sisters during your workout - all to the tune of I Put a Spell on You, naturally.

Corella and his fellow 'Sanderson siblings' wear head-to-toe Hocus Pocus costumes for the occasion and even incorporate lines from the 1993 movie ("she's vicious!") into the routine.

Fun, accessible and super-energising, the dance workout kicks off with Joseph taking viewers through the individual moves without the soundtrack.

If, like us, you're not blessed in the coordination department, this part allows you to get a grip on the choreography before you try out the full routine.

Sure to make you break a sweat, the dance number includes moves that Sarah, Winnifred and Mary would be proud of, like side steps, body rolls and knee drives.

If anything's going to motivate us to switch off the Halloween flicks and get moving, it's this!

If Hocus Pocus fitness doesn't take your fancy, how about a Britney Spears-themed HIIT workout?

Choreographed to a selection of banging tunes and combining upper body walk with butt-toning squats and lunges, the workout sesh will have you breaking a sweat and channelling the noughties icon in no time.

The 30-minute routine comes from certified PT, group fitness instructor and queen of themed HIIT routines Emily Thorne (or @emkfit, as she goes by on her social channels).

Featuring jump squats, lunge-and-flex routines and even (yes, really) hair flips, the routine plays out to tracks like Oops I Did It Again, Work B*tch and Stronger.
