M&S Is Now Selling A Percy Pig Cake Away Jar

Say hello to the Percy Pig Cake Jar - which launched in stores today - and looks utterly delicious.

"*ANOTHER PERCY ALERT* - stop what you’re doing - it’s Percy Pig in a Jar!" M&S wrote on Instagram.

"Out today and ready to slot perfectly into your busy life. Take him to a picnic, give him to a friend... have him as the favours on your big day - the options are endless!

"A jar of layered, cakey, percy-licious jammy goodness awaits you."

It does look delish - just look at those layers...

The Percy Cake Jar is filled with layers of fluffy madeira sponge, Percy flavoured buttercream, raspberry jam and fruity raspberry jelly pieces.

Of course, it's finished with a Percy Pig sweet, as well as freeze-dried raspberry pieces for that extra fruity kick.

It's priced at £4 per jar and joins the Colin the Caterpillar Cake Jar - which launched a few months ago.

"After selling over 700,000 cake jars to date (which also includes the delicious Raspberry Ripple and Trillionaire options), and countless fans hyping up this cute compact cake concept – we felt it was time to put the cherry on top, or should we say the Percy!" said M&S.

Foodie gurus @kevssnackreviews also raved about the cake jar on social media, writing: "Launching in @marksandspencer tomorrow (13th July) are these Percy Pig cake jars, with Madeira sponge, layered with raspberry jam, raspberry jelly pieces, fruity buttercream, finished with freeze dried raspberries and a Percy Pig!

"This is of course, tasty and very sweet. The jelly pieces are interesting, giving a chewy texture, the other elements like the jam and buttercream are lovely although very sweet. The freeze dried raspberries bring a little zing."
