We've Been Opening Oxo Cubes Wrong This Whole Time

Hang on... what?!

We've got some unsettling news... we've all been opening Oxo cubes incorrectly, our entire lives.

Yep. If you open your Oxo cube by tearing the foil wrapper, peeling it off and crumbling up your cube - pay attention.

We can't believe we've been doing it wrong this whole time!

You can watch a video of how it should be done below:

Posting the video on TikTok, user @megee100 shared the trick - and people are pretty shook.

One person wrote: "I was today years old 😳."

While another said: "MindblownđŸ’„đŸ’„."

And a third added: "Omg ty saves me tearing lil pieces off!!"

Meanwhile a fourth commented: "I still rip em apart...and have little bits of silver all over the place😂😂."

"I always seem to get hard ones that just burst open," added a fifth.

In other TikTok food news, people are only just realising how to use saucepan lids correctly.

The video was posted on Instagram’s @todayyearsold page, with the caption: “I’m starting to think they need to add TikTok as part of the school curriculum, seriously.”

“Just when I was feeling confident in the kitchen,” one person said.

Another person joked: “At this point we even breathing wrong.”

“I’m sorry, what?” said a third, and a fourth added: “Who knew this and didn’t tell me?”

Meanwhile, a two second avocado hack has revealed how you can work out if your avocado is ready to eat - after all, there's nothing worse than an avocado that's not yet ripe - or one that's way too mushy.

Taking to TikTok, user @gannweather showed the super simple hack – and honestly, we can’t believe we never did this. In the video, the user simply removes the stem of the avocado before assessing the colour of the fruit underneath.
