Mum Makes Cheesy Pasta Skewers And We're Obsessed

Okay we need these ASAP.

When it comes to pasta and mounds of melted cheese - you just can't go wrong. Which is why we're obsessed with one mum's 'cheesy pasta skewers'.

Drooool.

One mum showed off her cheesy pasta skewers recipe (

Made as a barbecue side, the mum explained the skewers are super easy to create and consist of pasta tubes, heaps of cheese and tomato sauce.

"Pasta skewers! Went down a treat with the kids. Will defo use tube pasta next time," she wrote on Facebook, adding: "Literally cook the pasta, skewer it and add sauce and cheese! Same as a pasta bake really!"

The skewers are such a good idea for an easy dinner, and you can add whatever toppings you fancy. Simply load some cooked pasta onto a skewer, coat in tomato sauce and top with cheese - as well as any other toppings such as meat or veggies - before popping in the oven.

Simply skewer the pasta before adding sauce and cheese (

And Facebook users are loving the idea, with one writing: "That's an ace plan! I'd be lucky if mine just ate a sausage from the BBQ so I'm totally making pasta skewers next time!"

While another said: "Why did I not think of this... I swear my kids think things cooked on a stick are the best... I applaud your idea mama! Mine only eat strawberries if on skewers with marshmallows."

And a third suggested: "I sometimes put meatballs on skewers with sauce and grated cheese."

In other food news, last week we told you how people have been making baked Biscoff oats. The recipe is super easy to create, all you need to do is blend 40g of oats, 20g protein powder, half a tablespoon of sweetener, half a teaspoon of baking powder, 40g of yoghurt (or the original video creator says you can substitute this for banana) and 80ml of almond milk.

Then add three quarters of this blended batter into a bowl and add 15g of Biscoff spread to the middle before covering with the rest of the batter.

Finally, add crushed lotus biscuit on top for the perfect crunchy topping and microwave for 60-90 seconds. Voila!

You can read more about the recipe - and watch a video here.
