People Are Now Making Cheesy Garlic Roast Potatoes

We're obsessed.

This trending TikTok recipe for cheesy garlic roast potatoes is definitely one to add to your Christmas dinner line-up!

Taking the internet by storm at the moment, these garlic roasties topped with piles of parmesan cheese have our mouths watering.

If you're looking to wow your Christmas guests and take your roasties to the next level, then look no further!

Step one is to prep your potatoes as normal: peel, chop, and boil your spuds with salt before draining and fluffing them.

Step two is where things get good.

Create a parmesan and garlic butter for your potatoes by mixing together butter or oil, salt, black pepper, minced garlic, parsley, and lots of grated parmesan - as well as whatever other seasonings tickle your fancy.

While some TikTok creators recommend dousing the potatoes in your parmesan garlic butter before they go in the oven, others swear by waiting until your roasties are cooked through.

When they do go in the oven, most seem to be cooking their roast potatoes at approximately 200C for an hour.

If you decided to season your roasties with your parmesan and garlic butter before they went into the oven, then make sure to douse them in a little bit more parmesan and parsley before you serve!

The growing rate of TikTok videos for this recipe is enough to convince us that these roast potatoes are a winner.

It looks like we're not the only ones who are impressed by this heavenly recipe.

"Omg I'm drooling" commented one TikTok user.

"This would win my heart forever," added another.

A third joked: "I could literally eat just this for dinner every night for the rest of my life."

Don't mind us, we're just off to pick up a few bags of potatoes and some blocks of parmesan cheese.
