However, now he's caught our attention for an entirely different reason, and believe it or not, it's a pretty positive one.

The 51-year-old posted a photo of himself at the beach to Instagram, and basically he's surprised us all by looking absolutely ripped.

Where you'd expect to see a bit of a bulging tum (he looks like the prime candidate for a dad bod, doesn't he?), there's actually a not-so-shabby set of abs - instantly making us all regret that Domino's binge last night. And that Maccy's you had the other day. And that time you were going to go to the gym but then lay on your bed doing absolutely nothing. Good times.

Explaining it was all for a good cause, he wrote: "Iron Chef to Ironman for @greatormondst #teamramsay London Triathlon can't wait! Great way to shake off jet lag.... good luck and congrats to all athletes and a BIG THANK YOU to all the volunteers & sponsors couldn't do it without you!"

It wasn't just us that was impressed, either, with many social media users posting praise for ol' Gord.

"What an absolute unit," one Instagrammer commented.

"Serious shape chef! Look younger now than you did back in the 90s," another wrote.

"Check out the gun show! No Dad bod in sight," someone else commented.

"No stopping this machine in anything he puts his mind to I reckon!" another added.

A few people reckoned his body looked a bit square, with one person commenting: "He looks fit but he's just built square shape."

A second simply wrote: "Be there or be square."

And a third asked: "Why his body shaped like that tho?"

But then there's no pleasing some people, is there?

Thankfully, there was plenty of love going on, drowning out the haters, with one person telling others to 'behave themselves', writing: "Some of you didn't even looked like this in your 20's and he's twice your age!"

I mean, they definitely have a point there.

Some people weren't even bothered about his impressive physique anyway, and instead took the opportunity to comment on his, ahem, manhood - with one person tagging a mate and saying that is 'hangs to the left'.

Well now I suddenly feel extremely queasy.
