Canadian model Rick Genest, aka 'Zombie Boy', has died at the age of 32 from an apparent suicide. He was found dead on Wednesday at his apartment in Montreal.
He was well known for appearing in the video for Lady Gaga hit 'Born This Way' in 2011.
The singer has taken to Twitter to not only pay tribute to Genest, but also call on greater awareness of mental health - asking us to 'save each other'.
In a series of tweets, she wrote:
The suicide of friend Rick Genest, Zombie Boy is beyond devastating. We have to work harder to change the culture, bring Mental Health to the forefront and erase the stigma that we can't talk about it. If you are suffering, call a friend or family today. We must save each other. pic.twitter.com/THz6x5JlpB

Genest's management also posted a tribute on Facebook.
"Rico was loved by all those who had the chance to meet him and know him," they said in the post.
"We received the unfortunate news at the beginning of the afternoon and members of the team have come to support his family and relatives in this dark and difficult moment.
"We want to present our deepest condolences... Thank you zb for these beautiful moments in your company and for your radiant smile."
Genest had become famous under his 'Zombie Boy' nickname because of his numerous tattoos across his skin, which depicted the inside of body.
Along with his modelling work in Mugler fashion shows in 2011 and magazine appearances for the likes of GQ, Vanity Fair and Vogue Hommes, he had also starred in 2013 fantasy action film 47 Ronin, which starred Keanu Reeves.
At the time of his death, Genest was 32 - with his body being found just six days before his 33rd birthday.
Rest in peace.
