Zac Efron's new eco travel show landed on Netflix on Friday and while the premise sees Zac and his buddy travel the world to carry out Very Important sustainability research, all fans seem to care about is the actor's fresh new look.

The result of the 32-year-old's slow rebrand from babyfaced High School Musical heartthrob to hunky bearded hipster was presented on screen for the world to see.

As Zac and his travel companion, wellness expert Darin Olien, travelled to far-flung destinations such as Iceland and Puerto Rico to talk to experts about their eco efforts, viewers were more concerned with his new beard and newly stocky physique.

"I am all here for the new thicc and scruffy Zac Efron!," wrote one thirsty fan.

"I DIDN'T REALIZE THIS DADDY WAS ZAC EFRON, OMG????" said another.

"Ok when did Zac Efron go from muscle hunk to daddy?" wrote another, which we wholeheartedly second.

"We're travelling around the world to find some new perspectives on some very old problems," says Zac.

"Food, water and energy are all the main staples for modern life. We're going to see some top eco innovators to see how change is an inside job.

"And we're going to be eating really, really well.

"We need to start rethinking how we consume everything, from our food to our power.

"Change has to start somewhere. Maybe it's about time we all changed. It's time to get down to earth."

Down to Earth with Zac Efron is available to watch on Netflix now.
