Netflix has a new reality dating series that might have you more hooked than Love Island. Cancel your social plans and pull a sickie at work to get ready to binge-watch Dating Around.

Coming to the streaming giant on Valentine's Day (Thursday, 14th February), Dating Around is set to be your new television obsession and there is already a one minute and a half-long trailer to get you excited.

Here's the premise. Each singleton goes on five first dates with five different people, and each encounter will be filmed.

But that's not all - each episode will start by showing you the first part of the singleton's dates with the five people. Then the episode will move onto the second part of the date and so on.

Each singleton will go on five dates.

This means you will be able to decide who is the best match for the singleton as the dates go on, and we're guessing that your mind will probably be constantly changing.

Then they must decide who they are going to go on a second date with at the end, and the next episode will focus on a completely different singleton and their matches.

Set in New York City, the singletons will go on dates in gorgeous settings across the Big Apple.

They must decide who they want to take on a second date.

More importantly, Dating Around will featured a number of LGBTQ+ matches, which is something massively lacking from current reality dating shows. Dating Around also has singletons from a range of different ages.

The streaming giant's official synopsis reads: "Every episode, one single goes on five first dates filled with flirty banter, awkward exchanges and moments of true connection. Who will get a second date? Netflix's first original dating show takes an honest and compelling look at the real world of dating."

Netflix also adds: "In a series of flirtations and fails, six real-life singles navigate five first dates. Their mission: Find one perfect match worthy of a second date."

We can't wait to watch this one.
