The Netflix thriller - which premieres on the streamer on 26th December - sees Joe (played by Penn Badgley) move to Los Angeles from New York for a fresh start following killing his girlfriend, Beck.
The problem is, when he arrives in L.A., he develops another unhealthy obsession with aspiring chef and health guru Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti).
Born-and-bred New Yorker Joe doesn't take to L.A. well, and all the stereotypes that come with it - something he has to deal with head-on when he meets Love's best friends.

They include successful L.A. acupuncturist Gabe (Charlie Barnett), stay-at-home lifestyle blogger Sunrise (Melanie Field), and edgy literary agent Lucy (Marielle Scott).
Run guys - we all remember what happened to Beck's pal, Peach Salinger.
In the meantime, Joe lands a new job in a trendy book store/cafe/grocery store, Anavrin (that's 'Nirvana' spelt backwards) handed to him by manager Calvin (Adwin Brown). Love also works there, as does her troubled brother Forty (James Scully).

Sharing a photo of Calvin on Twitter, Netflix joked: "Working at a bookstore with Joe... What can go wrong?"
Other new characters include Will (Robin Lord Taylor), a clever guy who deals with "unsavoury clients" as part of his job, Ellie Alves (Jenna Ortega), a wise-beyond-her-years teenager growing up in L.A, and Roger Stevens (Reggie Gowland) one of Joe's new friends.
But all isn't plain sailing for Joe in his new kushty life in the City of Angels.

His thought-to-be-dead ex girlfriend Candace (Amber Childers) returns, no doubt to cause trouble for him.
At the same time, investigative reporter Delilah Alves (Carmela Zumbado), who lives in the same building as Joe, grows suspicious of him.
