Just like the rest of the world, we fell in love with Never Have I Ever as soon as it dropped on Netflix.

And now, the show has revealed it has been renewed for a second season - and they announced it in the best way possible.

You can see it here:

Explaining she had some exciting news to reveal, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (who plays Devi) gathered the main cast together on Zoom, telling Lee Rodriguez (Fabiola) and Ramona Young (Eleanor): "Hey guys, thanks for hopping on the Zoom so quick.

"Once everybody's on, I've got some awesome news to tell you."

But the big announcement is quickly diverted, after Lee notices Maitreyi has had a cute fringe cut in - and it becomes the topic of the whole conversation!

One by one, as the cast log on, everyone notices, with Darren Barnet (Paxton) adding: "Woah! Someone got bangs."

While Jaren Lewison (who plays Ben) says: "It seems crazy to get us altogether to take about your bangs?"

In the end, Maitreyi despairs and quickly blurts out: "It's not about the bangs! I just wanted to tell you all that Never Have I Ever is being renewed for a Season 2!"

Yaaaass, we are so excited. And by the looks of it so are they...

It looks like the new season will be coming in 2021 (

And since all the main cast were on the call, we're expecting they'll all be returning for the second instalment. It's also expected to be arriving next year, with Jaren holding up a cake iced with 'Season 2 Coming In 2021'.

In case you're yet to watch, the Netflix teen drama focuses on the complicated life of teenager, Devi Vishwakumar.

The first season follows Devi in her sophomore year of high school as she navigates friends, family and romance and specifically, the huge crush she has on classmate, Paxton.

On her first day of sophomore, she arrives at school where she's joined by her best mates Eleanor and Fabiola. She tells them sophomore year will be "their year" and announces she's come up with a "re-branding plan" to make them 'cool'.

But, despite the best intentions, Devi has a short fuse and ends up getting into all kinds of difficult and awkward situations, all the while trying to navigate and process the usual trials and tribulations of teenage life.

Mindy Kaling created and produced the series (explains why it's so good!) alongside Lang Fisher. Maitreyi actually bagged the role after hearing about the casting call on Mindy's social media.

Having only acted in stage productions, the 17-year-old beat 15,000 other hopefuls for the part of Devi after having two auditions for the role. So cool!

We can't wait to see what's in store for Devi next year. The countdown is on!
