*This article contains major spoilers for White Lines*
The telly gods have provided some seriously good TV offerings during lockdown - one being Alex Pina's White Lines, which aired on Netflix earlier this month.
Many viewers whizzed through all 10 episodes in just one weekend, lusting over the glorious location (and Nuno Lopes' character, Boxer, obv) and obsessing over who killed Manchester DJ, Axel Collins.

It had us so hooked, that now fans are calling for a Season 2. After all, we have so many questions... will Axel's killer be brought to justice? Will Zoe and Boxer get it on again? Or, will she go back to her family in Manchester?
And speaking of Boxer, what's he getting up to now he's no longer working for the Calafat family? There was quite a few loose ends that the show failed to tie up - and we need answers. Here's everything we know about a second season...
What has Netflix said about White Lines Season 2?
Advert
So far? Zilch. However, that's not all that unusual. After all, the show has only been on the streaming platform a couple of weeks.
However, creators originally said the show had been planned for three seasons (yaaaas) and considering the first was such a hit, we think they'd be mad not to.
What has the cast said about a second season?

Tom Rhys Harries (who played Axel) has said that planning for another season is already underway.
Tom's character was the focus of the entire series, as his sister, Zoe (played by Laura Haddock) practically moved to Ibiza and sacrificed everything to hunt down his killer.
Meanwhile, flashback scenes show Axel and his friends Marcus (Daniel Mays), Anna (Angela Griffin) and David (Laurence Fox) as they navigate the 90s drug-fuelled music scene in both Manchester and Ibiza.
Tom told our friends at LADbible: "I know that there are recces happening for season two; they're location scouting, if and when that goes ahead - or that was happening prior to the global pandemic.

"But I think everybody would be really keen to go back and visit Alex [Pina]'s world again, because it's just so out there and colourful and sort of bonkers. It's just a fun place to live in for a little bit."
What will the second season be about?
It's currently unknown whether the second season will be a sequel or a prequel to the first. Tom pointed out that there's much of the first season that isn't delved into too deeply - for example how Axel, Anna, Marcus and David managed to establish their clubs.

There's definitely scope for a prequel, which would likely see a chunk of filming in Manchester, too. However, it could also pick up in present day, focussing on Zoe and her next move.
But, as Tom pointed out: "Alex's non-linear storytelling - and he does this with Money Heist as well - where you know he could go anywhere with it, so that's really exciting."
Who will star in the second season?
Tbh, we'd be gutted if any of the characters failed to make a return. It's expected that the likes of Laura Haddock, Daniel Mays, Angela Griffin and Laurence Fox will return and potentially their younger selves, too - played by Ceallach Spellman (Marcus), Kassius Nelson (Anna) and Jonny Green (David).
And let's just say actor Nuno Lopes (who played Boxer) had best return...
Come on Netflix, we need to know when this is happening ASAP!
