The moment every fan has been waiting for has finally arrived - Hulu has dropped the trailer for The Handmaid's Tale Season 4, and it's safe to say we're now desperate for the new season to kick off.

You can watch it here...

In case you need a recap, Season 3 of the dystopian drama left us worrying what would become of June Osborne after she risked her own life to rescue the children of Gilead, and ended up gravely wounded in the process.

At the end of the last season, we also saw Serena Joy arrested in Canada. Despite her helping June in the resistance in return for immunity, the immunity doesn't cover her forcing June to have sex with Nick in order for her to bear her a child of her own.

And while fans haven't been given much info about the season ahead, by the looks of the trailer it seems like there could be some sort of rebellion on the horizon.

At the end of the teaser, viewers hear: "What happens in the next few weeks, will determine the future of this country" and June can be seen looking directly into the camera adding: "We're just getting started."

It looks so good.

It's reported that the majority of the cast will return for the next season, so we can expect and hope to see more of Alexis Bledel as Emily/Ofglen, Yvonne Strahovski as Serena Joy, Samira Wiley as Moira, Joseph Fiennes as Fred, Madeline Brewer as Janine/Ofwarren/Ofdaniel, O-T Fagbenle as Luke, Max Minghella as Nick, Ann Dowd as Aunt Lydia, Amanda Brugel as Rita, Bradley Whitford as Commander Lawrence and Clea DuVall as Sylvia.

And we're expecting big things from the next instalment, with showrunner Bruce Miller telling Entertainment Weekly: "You don't want to be setting up Season 4 in Season 3. Audiences smell that coming.

"So what I do is completely screw myself at the end of the season. Then you think, 'Oh, there's a whole bunch of smart writers who will come in next season and solve that problem.'"

At present, there's still no word on a release date for the 10-part season. We're just crossing our fingers it hasn't been delayed too much due to Covid-19.

In the meantime, we'll be watching this teaser on repeat...
