Ever since Netflix's latest show, White Lines, dropped on the streaming platform earlier this month, viewers have been rushing to binge watch.

And while the mysterious plot and dreamy location (which is making us seriously crave a holiday in Ibiza) might have something to do with it, viewers have been equally obsessed with one character in particular - Boxer.

By the creator of Money Heist (also known as La Casa de Papel), White Lines is a 10-part drama is set in the glamorous Balearic Islands, with a dark mystery at its core.

It follows Zoe (Laura Haddock), who returns to the stunning region after the body of her brother, legendary Manchester DJ Axel (Tom Rhys Harries), is discovered 20 years after he went missing in Ibiza.

While trying to unravel the mystery behind her brother's death, Zoe teams up with Boxer - who is head of security for the wealthy and powerful Calafat family - and while trying to find Axel's killer, the pair embark on an unexpected romance.

It's short-lived however, as Zoe soon starts to suspect whether Boxer played a part in her brother's murder.

Ever since the show aired, many viewers have taken a shine to Boxer, with many going as far as to say he has replaced Connell from Normal People as their new lockdown crush - which we can all agree is a very big statement.

One wrote: "So first am in love wae Connell from normal people and now it's boxer from white lines, ma heart needs a break man fs."

Others agreed, with one adding: "Fell in love with connell in normal people, now fell in love with boxer in white lines."

"Move over Connell from normal people it's all about Boxer from White Lines now," tweeted another.

Others simply called him a "solid 11/10". Agreed.

But it's not just Boxer that seems to be getting viewers' attention - it's his relationship with Zoe, too and the sensitive side that seems to emerge as a result.

Even when Zoe tortures Boxer with a power hose, he simply responds by declaring his love for her.

One viewer wrote: "Boxer's romantic speech to Zoe (while she's interrogating him with a power hose to find out who murdered her brother) is maybe the sweetest thing I've seen in my life. He's so in love with her, he's the best. We all need a Boxer in our lives."

While another said: "I need a love like Zoe and Boxer!"

The 10-part series is available to binge-watch on Netflix now, and alongside Zoe and Boxer, Laurence Fox stars as David while Marta Milans takes on the role of Kika.

Meanwhile, Daniel Mays plays Marcus and Tom Rhys Harries also stars as Axel.

Here's to hoping the gripping show secures a second season...
