ITV drama Unforgotten is back for season four on Monday (22nd February).
Fans have been waiting patiently for the BAFTA-nominated series, starring Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar, to return ever since the last instalment, back in 2018.
And after some brief Covid-19 delays, seeing as the pandemic got in the way of filming in January, we can now confirm that DCI Cassie Stuart and DI Sunny Khan (and his backpack) are finally returning to screens, with a brand new cold case, which needs solving.
ITV has promised the mysteries they face are set to push them to new limits, in particular one "emotionally-charged cold case murder".

The murder will show the pair uncovering the dissected body of Millwall Football Club supporter Matthew Walsh in a scrap metal yard.
Even eerier, the team believe with the body had been dumped there after originally being stored in a domestic freezer for as long as 30 years.
OG stars of the series like Alastair Mackenzie, Peter Egan, Carolina Main, Jordan Long and Lewis Reeves are also gracing our screens once more for the newest series.

Peaky Blinders legend Andy Nyman will be appearing in the show, too, alongside Little Boy Blue's Clare Calbraith, Lucy Speed and Ackley Bridge star Liz White.
"I am so excited to be bringing back the Unforgotten team for a fourth series, as Cassie and Sunny take on perhaps their most challenging case to date," said writer Chris Lang, discussing the new season.
