Unforgotten fans are adamant they've already worked out who the killer is after last night's gripping episode.
Ever since the series returned for a fourth instalment last month, ITV viewers have been hooked, with hundreds taking to social media to voice their views over who committed the heinous crime.
The fourth season of the BAFTA-nominated series sees DCI Cassie Steward (Nicola Walker) and DI Sunil Khan (Sanjeev Bhaskar) uncover the dissected body of Millwall Football Club supporter, Matthew Walsh, found in a scrap metal yard.

The team believe the body had been dumped after originally being stored in a domestic freezer for as long as 30 years.
While investigating, they discover the freezer belonged to a recently deceased man, Robert Fogerty. When the team pull up Fogerty's records, they learn he was caught drink driving the same night the victim vanished.
Over the last few episodes, the team manage to whittle down their list of suspects to just four people - and after last night's ep, viewers are adamant they know who committed the crime, with many pointing to police officer Liz (Susan Lynch).

Following revelations about her romantic relationship with Fiona (played by Liz White) fans are convinced Liz is behind the murder - especially after it emerged that Fiona had killed a child while drink driving and Liz had covered it up by 'losing' the blood sample.
"Right so I'm sticking with Liz as my prime suspect because she was protecting Fiona," one tweeted.
While another added: "Liz has just jumped to the top of my list of suspects."

Meanwhile a fourth tweeted: "Liz is my main suspect. She has them all under the the thumb."
