Undateables viewers were left in bits as Daniel Wakefield proposed to his girlfriend during last night's episode.
Fans of the Channel 4 series dubbed the festive episode the "sweetest ever" as Daniel, who lives with autism, got down on one knee for Lily Taylor.

Musician Daniel serenaded his love with 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' with a choir, before he popped the question with a gorgeous diamond ring in Brighton Bandstand - one of Lily's favourite places.
"I did it!" exclaimed Daniel, before declaring: "We love each other. I'm feeling very excited. What's the best feeling in the world? Love."
His new fiancée added: "I'm so very happy Daniel proposed. We're getting married! I love him very much."
Lily and Daniel met on the Channel 4 docu-series last year, and hit it off right away.

Their families also shared their joy at the proposal, with Lily's mum Karen saying: "We absolutely sobbed our socks off with joy. She has won the love lottery. Daniel is perfect for her. They really understand each other."
Daniel's dad Barry added: "When he found Lily, all his Christmases came at once."
Viewers watching at home were just as touched by the romantic proposal, taking to Twitter to share their happiness for the couple too.
"Nothing has made me happier this Christmas season so far as this proposal just did," declared one touched viewer.

And another Undateables fan added: "I appear to have something in my eyes after Daniel's lovely proposal. Lily couldn't say Yes any more vociferously. Just beautiful."
"The Undateables Christmas proposal has me in tears right now I am so so happy!!!" exclaimed somebody else, with a final fan adding: "Sobbing at that Christmas proposal."
News of Daniel's proposal first emerged at the weekend, before the Christmas special aired. The episode was also titled Undateables: A Festive Proposal meaning fans knew they were in for a heartwarming episode.
