Maisie Williams has swapped her Needle for a pistol in Sky One's upcoming drama, Two Weeks To Live - and the first trailer looks do damn good.

The upcoming dark comedy stars the Game of Thrones actress, alongside Sian Clifford of Fleabag, as well as Mawaan Rizwan (Sex Education), Taheen Modak (The Bay), Kerry Howard (Four Weddings and a Funeral), Thalissa Teixeira (Press) and Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button).

It follows Kim Stokes (Williams), described as a "a strange young misfit" who was just a little girl when her father died in mysterious circumstances. Following his death, her mother Tina (Clifford) whisked her away to the Scottish wilderness, where the pair lead an isolated and bizarre existence filled with survival technique training.

However, 15 years after witnessing her father's death, Kim escapes her controlling mother and sets out into the real world to find her father's killer.

But civilisation isn't all she imagined as she meets socially awkward Nicky (Rizwan) and his brother Jay (Modak) in their local pub, which sets into motion a series of chaotic events. Whena drunken prank goes wrong with some murderous gangsters, they're all left in grave danger.

Tina arrives in search of her daughter, as the mismatched crew attempt to evade the revenge-bent gangsters.

"But Kim is no ordinary fish out of water - she's more like a great white shark who knows how to strip a Smith & Wesson SDVE pistol in 6 seconds flat and skin a deer to make a sleeping bag whilst perfectly reciting the lyrics to 'I Will Survive'," Sky add.

"With her in their team, they might all just get out of this alive."

Yep, we're sold.

Two Weeks to Live was created and written by Gaby Hull, who was responsible for hit ITV drama Cheat.
