We've waited 12 long years for another instalment in the Twilight saga but, yesterday, Midnight Sun - a new book in the popular vampire saga - hit the shelves and fans are understandably excited to return to the world of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.
Whether you're team Edward all the way or were rooting for Jacob from the start, this new book gives a whole new viewpoint on the love triangle between the three key characters.
Told, this time, from the point of view of teen vampire Edward, Midnight Sun follows what happens when Edward meets Bella and how she transforms his life. Sounds intriguing!
"At last, readers can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun," reads the book's description." This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist."

It's only been a day but now fans who picked up the book on release day are calling for a movie version to be made.
In the original run, the popular novels were turned into five successful films - Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Parts One and Two, so it's no wonder fans are calling for a revisit to this world:

While one fan even mocked up a poster for the "film":
The original Twilight series of books and films told the story of Bella Swan, who moved to Forks, Washington, to live with her father. When she falls in love with secret vampire and fellow classmate Edward Cullen, her life takes on a surprising and twisty turn. The gripping story definitely got us hooked the first time!
We can't wait to read Edward's tale of events - and we're rooting for that movie adaptation too!
