The second instalment of the series again follows retired detective Jackie Malton who uses her unparalleled list of contacts to get access to ten of Britain's most infamous murder cases.

Jackie, the inspiration behind multi-award winning drama Prime Suspect character DCI Jane Tennison, played by Helen Mirren, rings in help from former colleagues to revisit investigations with police, detectives, and other professionals who were there at the time of the cases.

The Untold Secrets of Cromwell Street will follow the detective as she speaks to the police involved in the couple's arrest and considers how the Wests got away with their crimes for so many years.

The couple were arrested in February 1994 after police found human remains and signs of torture at their home. When questioned by police, Fred admitted to killing at least thirty people, and Rose denied having any involvement.

While on remand, Fred killed himself and Rose went to trial, eventually being sentenced to life in prison.

Their home, 25 Cromwell Street, was known as the 'house of horrors', and was demolished after the couple's arrest.

This sounds like it's not one to miss.

The Untold Secrets of Cromwell Street airs on 24th March at 10pm on CBS Reality, available on Sky (146), Virgin (148), Freeview (66), and Freesat (135).
