A Friends Themed Cruise Sets Off Next Year And We Are So On Board

With Friends: The Reunion hitting our screens, people have been reminiscing over the beloved sitcom.

But if a rewatch of the ten seasons hasn't quite been enough for you, then you can go one up and set sail on a Friends themed cruise next year.

This is the one time you'll happily be able to say: "We were on a break" without any drama.

From 15^th - 21^st May 2022, you can travel from Fort Lauderdale on the ship 'Celebrity Equinox'. You'll be stopping off at ports in Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico and there's plenty to do on board.

The travel agency Fana World Travel has created the 'Cruise with Friends' experience that will offer 500 Friends fans a holiday that includes activities such as a themed costume contest and a trivia game to find the ultimate mega fan.

The ship itself also sounds luxurious. It was awarded best service in its class by the Cruise Critic Cruiser's Choice Awards and has a sun deck, sky observation lounge, spa and salon.

If you're already sold and packing the sun cream, you also need to enter some super important information when booking your ticket that isn't just your passport details. They want to know your favourite Friends character, obviously!

The site says: "Get ready to eat like Joey, joke like Chandler, cook like Monica, shop like Rachel, yoga like Phoebe and dig like Ross."

However, there doesn't seem to be any current plan for any of the Friends cast to make an appearance on the cruise, so you'll have to settle for whoever wins best dressed at the costume contest.

If you'd like to stay in one of the cheaper rooms, then the Inside Stateroom with a sitting area and a flat screen TV has prices starting from $1,648.66 (£1,163.10).

There's plenty of other room options but the most expensive is a suite, starting from $3,048.66 (£2,150.77). The room includes a personal butler service, private dining in the on-board restaurant, the Luminae, and exclusive access to spaces such as The Retreat Lounge.

Also, a quick reminder: do not get a hairstyle like Monica in Barbados on your holiday.
