Episode four, which airs on 6th May in the UK on Sky Atlantic, saw the focus shift to the war for the Iron Throne in the aftermath of the Battle of Winterfell.

And the 49 second-long GoT trailer suggests that the clash between Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Carke) and Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) will now come to a dramatic head in the next episode, airing on 13th May in the UK.

While episode four's trailer was full of lots of super spoilers (namely a proposal between Euron and pregnant Cersei), this one does not give much away.

As the countdown for battle ticks on, main characters Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk) can be seen ominously waiting for war.

While Daenerys is nowhere to be seen in the trailer, actress Emilia has teased that the war for the Iron Throne will be even bigger than the Battle of Winterfell, back in episode three.

"I mean [episodes] four and five and six, they're all insane, but... Find the biggest TV you can," she said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week.

This series is the eighth and finale season ever of Game of Thrones. It will end after the sixth episode, meaning you should probably prepare yourselves for even more bloodshed as producers aren't afraid of killing off your favourite characters.

Game of Thrones season eight airs on Sunday at 9pm in the US on HBO, and airs at 9pm on Sky Atlantic in the UK on Mondays.
