After a few years away from our screens, Tracy Beaker is back - and getting ready to tell us to bog off all over again.

Our favourite feisty kid from the Dumping Ground is all grown up and now has a child of her own in brand new three-part drama, My Mum Tracy Beaker - which follows Tracy and her daughter Jess.

Single mum Tracy and Jess may have found things a struggle as they often find themselves cash-strapped, but the pair have always been a tight-knit family unit.

However, things suddenly change when Tracy's childhood friend Football, real name Sean Godfrey, comes back onto the scene.

Things have hugely changed since Tracy and Sean were kids, with Sean now a hugely successful and retired professional footballer, who has now launched a new chain of gyms.

He plans to whisk Tracy and Jess out of their grimy London estate and into the lap of luxury - and it would seem Tracy far from told him to bog off.

In a sneak preview of the new series, which airs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 5pm, we can see Tracy trying on a wedding dress, as daughter Jess and Sean's housekeeper Rosalie look on.

Could Tracy really be getting ready to say "I do," or will everything go pear-shaped for Beaker once more?

Dani Harmer will be returning to play Tracy, while newcomer Emma Maggie Davies stars as Jess, and Jordan Duvigneau plays Sean.

Tracy is not the only familiar face returning.

A teaser clip showed Tracy come face to face with arch-rival Justine Littlewood (Montanna Thompson).

The awkward encounter sees Jess reveal that mum Tracy had given her all the gossip on their now legendary feud.

Speaking to Tyla about the legacy of the Tracy Beaker franchise, actor Dani explained: "We are a bit like Marvel, aren't we? Getting back into character isn't too hard because she's almost like a part of me now, even though we're so, so different.

"I'm nothing like her in real life, I promise. She's a lot bossier than I am."

My Mum Tracy Beaker will be available to stream on BBC iPlayer from today and airs at 5pm on CBBC.
