TOWIE star Pete Wicks has revealed he and co-star Chloe Sims have been more than "just friends" over the past couple of years.

Speaking to The Sun about the pair's relationship, 31-year-old Pete confessed he and Chloe, 37, had been more than just mates since as far back as 2018.
"Yes our relationship has been more than just a friendship. It has been romantic," he said.
"There have definitely been blurred lines over the last two-years. We haven't been officially seeing each other but there's definitely been times it's been more than just a friendship."
It's expected the revelation will be played out in scenes airing in tonight's episode of TOWIE as Pete and Chloe - who have been having a tough time with their friendship recently - embark upon couples' counselling.

In the session, the counsellor directly asks the pair if their friendship had ever "crossed a line".
As TOWIE returned to our screens earlier this month, it was revealed that Pete and Chloe (who have always been BFFs on the show) hadn't spoken for six months after a bust up in January.

Over the last few episodes, the pair have tried to patch up their friendship, but Chloe confessed she "didn't trust" Pete, while close friends began speculating if their friendship had ever crossed a line.
Pete added: "I do love her and she is one of the most important people to me and hopefully I am to her but we have subsequently made a mess of our friendship. It is very hard to maintain a friendship when you do that because the lines get blurred and emotions get involved."
However, fans will be disappointed to know that the TOWIE star has ruled out a relationship, explaining he thinks they're better as mates.
