Many of us spent the weekend scoffing Netflix's brand new dating show Too Hot To Handle in one. WOW is it addictive.
For anyone that isn't caught up, it's basically like Love Island but condensed into just eight highly-bingebale episodes with one (pretty crucial) twist: the contestants aren't allowed to engage in any sexual contact or the prize money drops.

We were introduced to the likes of Canadian travel influencer Francesca Fargo, who has previously dated famous DJ Diplo; nation's sweetheart-in-the-making and Essex girl Chloe Veitch; ex-semi-pro rugby player David Bitwistle and Aussie playboy Harry Jowsey.
We felt like we were right there with them as they attempted to abstain from sex while living in a stunning Mexican resort - but did you have any idea Too Hot To Handle was filmed a year ago?
Yes, believe it or not, filming for the dating show took place in April last year.

Speaking to Refinery29, showrunner and executive producer Viki Kolar confirmed: "[The cast turned up] a couple of days before the shoot, which was the end of March 2019 and we filmed for 24 to 25 days in April 2019."
That means the contestants had to keep their involvement secret for a whole year. Crazy!

David Bitwistle, who had his eye on blue-eyed stunner Lydia Clyma in the series, even tweeted about it back when the Netflix show was first announced at the star of April.
"I don't know if anyone remembers but about this time last year, I took a month off social media randomly...Tomorrow, you'll find out why," he wrote on Instagram.
Fans can't believe it either. "Too hot to handle was filmed one year ago.. wow," one wrote, while others had their suspicions that it was filmed a while back.

Naturally, we now we have SO many questions.
With a whole year passed between filming, we're desperate to know which couple's lasted. Did Australian Harry ever visit Francesca in Vancouver? Are Sharron and Rhonda - who made their relationship official at the end of the series - still together?!
As it stands, it appears the contestants are still under non-disclosure agreements as they're remaining tight-lipped about the status of the relationships. But we reckon it won't be long until Netflix gives them the go-ahead to spill all.

That isn't stopping us from putting on our detective hats and having a nosey on Instagram for any clues.
Shortly after the show wrapped filming, Harry tagged Vancouver in a series of photos, clearly holidaying in Francesca's home town, while the Instagram model was also seen posting in Queensland in June.
As recently as March, Harry commented on one of Francesca's selfies: "What I wanna wake up to." Could it be they're doing the long-distance thing?
As for Sharron and Rhonda, as recently as Monday the model posted a photo from the show of him and his beau, writing: "If someone told me to describe you in 1000 words, that still wouldn't be enough #SharRhonda."
Surely that says it all?
