Too Hot To Handle officially returns to Netflix today for season 2, and we're sure that anybody who remembers how chaotic the last season was will certainly not want to miss this one.

Yep, you only have to hark back to the secret escapades of Francesca Farago and Harry Jowsey, among other randy cast-members, to know the show is going to be a good'un. And if anything, things are going to be even more x-rated after a year in lockdown.

Grab your pillow and get ready to hide behind it, because this is going to be a cringe-fest.

The first four episodes of THTH season 2 lands on Netflix today (23rd June), with 10 hot singles looking for love in paradise. The second instalment will come on 30th June.

Oh, Netflix, you do like to keep us on our toes.

Check out a trailer below:

So, let's recap on what to expect.

Describing the new series, Netflix said: "The world's hottest no dating dating show is back.

"Anyone who dares to break the rules of no kissing, no heavy petting, and no self-gratification of any kind will see the $100,000 prize drop faster than our contestants' libido in the least sexy vacation getaway of their lives."

Like last time, the contestants all think they're signing up for a completely different dating show, called Parties In Paradise.

But when they get to the island - this time in the picturesque Turks and Caicos - they'll be in for a bit of a shock when they realise what show they're actually on: pssst, it's one where PDA is firmly off the menu.

This year's cohort is made up of 24-year-old Welsh model and personal trainer Cam; Auckland, New Zealand local Carly, 24; and Larissa, a 24-year-old model from Toronto, Canada.

Also in the mix is Chase, a 24-year-old professional footballer from Arizona, US; Marvin, a 26-year-old model from Paris; Melinda, a 28-year-old model from New York; Emily, a 27-year-old model from London; 27-year-old former stripper Nathan, from Texas; 26-year-old model and bartender Kayla, from Florida; and Peter, a 27-year-old personal trainer, from New York.

Basically, a lot of beautiful young people.

If you're wondering if it's going to compete with last year's antics, we can promise you it will. Tyla got a chance to speak exclusively to two of the contestants, Melinda and Carly, ahead of the launch and they hinted pretty strongly that we should expect an even steamier series this time around.

Both of them had no idea what they were getting themselves into, natch, but it sounds like the premise of the show is their worst nightmare.

"I was just there to get wasted and hook up with people, I had no idea," said Carly, meanwhile Melinda said she even contemplated leaving when she found out there was no snogging allowed.

"When I heard there was a sex ban I was already in the midst of packing my bags and saying my goodbyes," she admitted. "I was like well, it was fun while it lasted but this is my exit.

"I was shocked, my jaw dropped. There was a hot guy standing next to me, a hot girl here, another hot guy here, and you said I can't kiss, I can't rub, I can't hump?

"And y'all want me to survive on this island? Nah. I was over it. I was truly over it."

With so much money at stake, the group had no choice but to take a vow of celibacy, though. But did they succeed?

As expected, the ladies hinted it wasn't plain sailing...

"When I first found out I was like oh god, me and rules don't get along, so this is going to be like hell for the other cast-mates," Melinda teased.

Meanwhile Carly said, with a smile: "At the beginning there was so much sexual tension, it was hard. Rules were definitely broken - a lot of rules were broken very quickly".

Honestly, we don't blame them. If you asked us to head to an island full of sexy singletons in the middle of a lockdown, and then ripped away the chance of any holiday romance, we wouldn't be best pleased, either.

Brb, we're off to binge the first four episodes immediately.
