British actor Tom Hardy has left mums all a fluster after he returned to CBeebies Bedtime Stories on Sunday.
In honour of the star's 42nd birthday, the kids' channel aired an episode of Tom reading Ross Collins' book 'There's a Bear on My Chair'.
The episode sent mothers wild as they settled down in front of the TV to watch Tom with their children - however, we've gathered many watched sans little ones for their own entertainment.
Taking to social media, one mother penned on Facebook: "My eldest child is 27 today but I'm watching CBeebies tonight alone lol".
Another wrote: "Thanks for the heads up, I'll make sure I get home on time and put little man to bed early to watch it," alongside a winking face emoji.
"Tom Hardy reading bedtime stories on CBeebies is my favourite thing about CBeebies," tweeted a viewer.
Another penned: "Just watched Cbeebies bedtime stories with Tom Hardy. It's a combo of sleep deprivation and my insane crush but I was totally captivated and just replied Night Night #tired #inlove".
One fan asked if CBeebies "have lots of unseen stories by Tom," and tweeted the channel's official Twitter account: "Let's just have a back to back stories Tom Hardy day, my imaginary child really really likes them."
The account replied that "Tom recorded a total of 5 stories for us which we repeat from time to time like this one!"
The episode that aired on Sunday was a re-run of his 2017 appearance and saw the actor looking cosy in a cardigan.
At the time, Tom dedicated his last Bedtime Stories appearance to his beloved dog Woody, who was by his side for filming of his episodes.
To mark National Dog Day Tom read out a special story about the friendship between a young boy and his dog following the death of Woody two months earlier.
