Take a deep breath because we have some huge news. Tiger King star Jeff Lowe has announced an extra episode of the mega popular true crime series is hitting Netflix next week.
We'll just let that sink in...

Although Netflix hasn't confirmed the bonus ep, nevermind announced a release date, Jeff indicated that filming has taken place for the episode over the last few days.
The Tiger King star, who bailed Joe Exotic out of court debts before eventually taking over his zoo, recorded a video clip for LA Dodgers player Justin Turner and actress, Kourtney Pogue.
In the clip, posted by Justin on Twitter, Jeff can be heard saying: "Hey Kourtney and Justin this is Jeff and Lauren from the Tiger King show on Netflix.
So our friend @christie_dish listened to the podcast, @HoldingKourt and after last weeks episode decided to send us this!!!

"Thank you for watching the show, [producer] Christie said you're a big fan and [...] yeah, you need a life. You've just wasted seven hours on ours.
"Take care guys, we love you, Netflix is adding one more episode, we'll be on next week, we're filming here tomorrow."
At the end of the clip, Jeff also added: "Take care, stay safe and put your mask on."
We have *so* many questions. If there is a bonus episode, what will it be about? The most likely focus of the extra ep would be all the events that have unfolded since the series ended.
The seven-episode show provided us with hours of entertainment during lockdown and in the final episode, we see Joe serving 22 years in prison at the Grady County Jail in Chickashi in Oklahoma, for organising a murder-for-hire against Carole Baskin.

However, he is reportedly launching a $94 million (£78 million) lawsuit from his cell. In the suit, which was reportedly filed on 17th March, Joe says his case included false and perjured testimony, and that he was discriminated against because he is "an openly gay male with the largest collection of generic tigers and crossbreeds".
Included in this figure is $15 million (£12.1 million) for the role he claims this played in the death of his mother.
Meanwhile, Jeff and Joe ended up as enemies. At the end of the documentary, we learn Jeff is building a new zoo in Oklahoma to rid himself of the association.

Nowadays, Jeff appears to still be working on the Oklahoma Zoo, which appears to be opening in summer 2020.
Although we're still waiting on Netflix to confirm the news, we just can't contain our excitement. Tyla has reached out to Netflix for comment. More as it comes...
