This Morning Viewers In Floods Of Tears Over 'Most Emotional Episode Ever'
This Morning viewers were sent on an emotional rollercoaster today when the daytime programme relived some of its real tear-jerker moments in celebration of its 30th birthday.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were sent down memory lane when they introduced the montage that highlighted some of the more serious issues that the programme has covered over the years.
Introducing the clips, Holly said: "Now we have a lot of fun on this show, but we've also tackled some tough subjects."
Phil added: "From our Be Kind campaign to Project 84 to our doctor's live medical checks to our real life stories, here's a taste of This Morning's serious side."
The montage included some really emotional moments including interviews with victims of the Manchester terror attack and an interview with ITV's late Keith Chegwin when he revealed he was an alcoholic.
Also included was Judy Finnigan's emotional reaction to the show aired after Princess Diana's death and Holly Willoughby in tears as she chats to guests.
Many viewers took to Twitter to discuss the emotional segment, which didn't seem to leave a dry eye in the house.
