This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby left viewers in giggles on Tuesday when she accidentally spilled her shepherd's pie on her dress and delivered a NSFW quip.

During a segment with TV chef Donal Skehan, the beloved host got a little too over excited trying out the Irish cook's mouth-watering dish and completely missed her mouth, leaving a large dallop of spud on her dress.

After a chorus of "oh no's" by her co-stars, the 40-year-old gave the camera a close-up of her foodie faux pas as co-host Phillip Schofield joked, "can't take you anywhere".

However, the hilarity ensued when Holly innocently delivered an innuendo-laced comment, "It's when I'm enjoying myself, I like to shovel it in".

Despite the TV star not meaning to make an innuendo, viewers at home couldn't help but comment about the quip.

Taking to Twitter, one penned simply shared several laughing-face emojis while another posted a gif from British comedy Are You Being Served?

Holly and Phillip Schofield are no strangers to making a cheeky comment having famously got the giggles when they went through a batch of NSFW pictures sent in by little kids.

At the beginning of the ITV show, the presenting duo shared a bunch of pictures that had been sent in by parents.

One in particular which caught Holly's attention was a drawing of Father Christmas' with a rather naughty looking selection of hats, which appeared more like... something else.

"My nine-year-old daughter has been teaching my seven-year-old to draw," Holly read, reading the note sent by one mum.

"Yes, you guessed it, Santa of course!"

Another note read: "My nine-year-old said this was me with a glass of wine in my hand."

The picture - presented by Phil - showed a woman holding something in her hand - but, errr... we're not sure it looked that much like a wine glass.

"Oh my god, what is this next one?", Phillip said, beginning to crease as he examined it.

The image showed a clay creation which was pink and rather x-rated.

"I love the innocence of children's drawings #ThisMorning," one viewer wrote after watching the segment.

Meanwhile, another penned: "I love it when they show the kids cock drawings. We all need a laugh right now #ThisMorning".

"Brilliant way to start the show. Love some dodgy drawings #thismorning," a third wrote.
