'The Walking Dead' Gets A Season 10b Release Date
*This story contains The Walking Dead season 10 spoilers*
The Walking Dead fans have been enjoying all the terrifying zombie action that comes with the AMC show for ten seasons now.
And with the tenth season currently on its winter hiatus, fans of the post-apocalyptic horror will be pleased to know they don't have to wait long until it returns to screens.
The zombie apocalypse mega series will be back for season 10.5 (or, 10b) on Sunday February 23rd, according to Digital Spy.
However, the UK has been airing the latest series one day after the US, so it's a safe bet that Brits will be getting the series on Feb 24th instead.
Fans have just enjoyed the mid-season finale - titled The World Before - on Monday, and there was lot of action and one helluva cliff-hanger to get our heads around.
We see Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) and their allies trapped underground with the dreaded Whisperers.
Having spent most of the first half of the series searching for Alpha (Samantha Morton) and her army of walkers, Daryl, Carol and co must now try and find a way out with their lives.
A teaser for the upcoming second half of the series shows just straight into the action with Gamma in Alexandria. Negan returns to tell Alpha that the spy might be in her camp, but it's not clear if she's on to Gamma yet.
Before the premiere of season 10, AMC announced it had confirmed a season 11, and there's likely to be a 12 on the way too.
Back in 2014, executive producer David Alpert said: "We know where seasons 11 and 12 [will be]... we have benchmarks and milestones for those seasons if we're lucky enough to get there."
The Walking Dead airs on Mondays at 9pm on FOX in the UK and on catchup via NOW TV.
