A new mystery thriller has just been announced by the BBC - and the premise sounds like one of the most tense (and mind-boggling) we've heard in a long time.
Six-part series The Tourist is set in the Australian outback where a British man being pursued by a tank truck trying to drive him off the road - (Wolf Creek vibes, anyone?!)
An epic cat and mouse chase unfolds with the character - who we know as The Man - who eventually wakes up in hospital injured but alive. Except he has no idea who he is.

The Tourist follows his journey for answers, as figures from his past relentlessly pursue him through the outback and way beyond.
It's described as "a story of self-discovery with a ticking time bomb underneath" as The Man begins to discover who he is, all the while being chased by those that are trying to kill him.
Black comedy will punctuate the action, as the series twists and turns "through the dusty outback of Australia, to the frantic noise and lights of Singapore, and to the calm, luxury white-sand beaches of Bali."

The series has been penned by writing duo Harry and Jack Williams and produced by their award-winning production company Two Brothers Pictures - the team behind The Missing and Liar.
Casting will be announced in due course, with filming taking place later this year.
Piers Wenger, Controller of BBC Drama, says: "The Tourist has one of the boldest and most brain-twistingly brilliant conceits which thriller fans will have experienced in a long time.
