If you've not started watching new BBC series, The Secrets She Keeps, you're missing a trick.

The six-part psychological thriller is available to watch in full on BBC iPlayer, and viewers say they've been binge watching the lot in one go.

Starring Laura Carmichael (Downton Abbey, Marcella) and Jessica de Gouw (The Crown, The Hunting), the drama is an adaptation of Michael Robotham's novel of the same name and focuses on Agatha and Meghan, two women living in the same Sydney suburb, with very different lives.

Agatha's idea of the 'perfect life' is Meghan's. On paper she has it all - a loving husband, a big house and two lovely children.

She's also a mummy blogger, receiving heaps of freebies every week, meanwhile Agatha struggles to make ends meet, lives in a small flat and the father of her baby, Hayden - a sailor serving on HMAS Sutherland - tries to cut her out of his life when he realises she's pregnant.

They meet in a supermarket where Agatha works, realising they are both pregnant and due to give birth at the same time.

But there's something not quite right about their growing friendship. Although Meghan is unaware, Agatha watches her from afar, sitting outside her house, fantasising about her life and 'running into her' at her yoga classes, or in the park.

Despite their differences, the two women do have something in common - explosive and shocking secrets that could destroy their entire lives.

Agatha's envious obsession takes a dark turn and we find out she has a harrowing past when it comes to babies. Added to that, all is not as it seems with her own pregnancy.

We don't want to give away any spoilers, but as BBC explain, "both will risk everything to conceal the truth, but their worlds are about to collide in one shocking act that cannot be undone."

The story is actually reported to be based on a real-life case from the 1990s, in which (spoilers ahead) a newborn baby was abducted from a hospital hours after birth by a woman posing as a nurse.

The child was held captive for over two weeks before finally being reunited with her parents.

And viewers are already completely hooked on the thrilling BBC show.

One person wrote on Twitter: "The Secrets She Keeps got me hooked. Gosh I'm going to binge watch rest of the episodes."

While another said: "Binge watched The Secrets She Keeps! Was gripped throughout! Very well acted I thought!"

"The Secrets She Keeps Is Gripping Drama I'm Binge Watching The Whole Thing On iPlayer !! A Compulsive Watch!!" Tweeted another.

You can catch all six episodes on iPlayer now, but be warned, once you start you won't be able to switch it off!
