The Play That Goes Wrong has been commissioned for a six-part series for BBC One. The popular stage production, which has travelled from the West End to Broadway, will now be hitting the small screen again with filming starting in March.
Titled The Goes Wrong Show, the new TV series follows on from the success of two previous festive specials based on Peter Pan and A Christmas Carol over the past couple of years.

With sets falling to pieces and stars tripping up over their lines, the plays as well as TV specials all followed Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society's disastrous theatre productions.
And the six-parter has the support of original Mischief Theatre members, including Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields plus Nancy Zamit, Charlie Russell, Bryony Corrigan, Greg Tannahill, Dave Hearn and Chris Leask.
Henry said of the new BBC production: "Ever since we first began to make things go wrong all the way back in 2012 it has been a dream of ours to bring a series based on this joyful brand of humour to the screen and so when the BBC commissioned The Goes Wrong Show it was a dream come true.
"We're so grateful for this incredible opportunity and we can't wait to get started on making some truly terrible programmes. We are still very short on equipment - if you have a camcorder we can borrow (in any condition) please do fax us."

Each episode will centre on a well-known genre, taking on courtroom dramas and spy thrillers.
And all six will be filmed in front of a live audience in Manchester when production kicks off next month. Needless to say, we can't wait for the final version to hit the Beeb. No word on an air date just yet, though.
