The Morning Show fans, exciting news. Apple TV has just released a first look at the upcoming Season 2 - which means we're one step closer to its release!

You can watch the preview - which includes other upcoming Apple TV shows - below:

Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are returning for the drama, which focuses on news anchor Alex Levy (Aniston) - whose co-anchor Mitch, played by Steve Carell, has been fired over sexual misconduct allegations - and Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon), who has been brought into the newsroom, replacing Mitch.

In the trailer for the upcoming season, Jennifer's character Alex looks pretty happy. In one shot, she can be seen laughing in the snow, while in another she's walking through the newsroom to a round of applause.

Meanwhile, another shot sees Alex's husband Jason - who she separated from in Season 1 - pleading: "I'm begging you to come back to me."

Reese's character Bradley, however, can be seen lying on the sofa looking rather pensive.

Jennifer first teased fans that The Morning Show had started filming again back in January, when she posted a selfie on her instagram with the caption: "Aaand, we're back..."

And Reese was quick to comment, adding: "YES WE ARE!"

While the plot for Season 2 is still unknown, it's expected to pick up where it left off in Season 1, when Alex and Bradley spoke out against the network president Fred Micklen - and his cover up - live on air.

We also know that the pandemic will be factored in.

"We had a good six or maybe seven outlines already done, and we were in the middle of shooting [episodes] one and two," Jennifer previously told Deadline.

"And then the COVID crisis happened... Now, Kerry is back to the drawing board, and we are incorporating COVID in a way that is so exciting."

It's not yet clear when the second season will drop, but we've got everything crossed it will be this year!
