If you told us we'd be spending our weekend watching a creepy looking unicorn sing along to Kate Bush's Babooshka, we probably would have thought you were mad.
But, like the whopping 4.2 million who tuned in to watch ITV's The Masked Singer on Sunday night, that's what we found ourselves doing.
The hit TV competition is like nothing we've ever seen before. With Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Ken Jeong at the helm, it consists of a whole array of much loved celebs singing their hearts out from behind elaborate looking costumes.
There's a frog, a chameleon, a butterfly, a hedgehog and a very creepy bee, and the premise of the show is to guess who is hidden behind the quirky ensembles.
Honestly, you have to see it to believe it.
And while everything about the show shouldn't work - really, it shouldn't - we weren't the only ones who were left completely addicted by the end.
As the judges threw their guesses into the ring - predicting that anybody from Olivia Colman to David Beckham could be behind the quirky costumes - viewers at home were quick to become detectives, too, digging up old tweets and even making spreadsheets in a bid to uncover which celebs could be undercover.
Amid the furore, Peter Crouch had to speak out on social media to deny he was the fancy dress tree, while actress Tamzin Outhwaite tweeted: "I can tell you now.. I'm not #fox #maskedsinger".
"I'm weirdly obsessed/freaked out by this show #TheMaskedSingerUK," one person said after the first episode aired.
While another agreed: "I knew I'd like this. A celeb dressed up in an outrageous costume. Who is the famous singer behind the mask? Brilliantly bonkers. It's like being stuck in a very weird dream having eaten cheese before you went to bed. #TheMaskedSinger".
A third chipped in: "#TheMaskedSinger is the biggest load of sh*te I have ever seen but it's so fricking amazing I can't switch off, I have to know who's behind the masks!!!!!!"
We guess that's kind of an endorsement?
Saturday night's saw EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer unmasked as the first eliminated celebrity after failing to impress as a giant butterfly, while on Sunday night it was former Home Secretary Alan Johnson who was unmasked from beneath a pharaoh costume.
There are still tons more celebrity names to guess in the upcoming weeks, with celebs including John Barrowman, Jason Manford, Tony Blair and Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts among the names being tipped by viewers at home.
One thing is for sure, like it or hate it, watch it once and you'll be hooked.
