Netflix's latest trailer for their dark comedy Maniac looks amazing and makes us want to watch it right now.

The series will have 10 episodes and is a remake of a Norwegian series of the same name from 2014 and follows two strangers who find themselves caught up in a mind-bending pharmaceutical trial which takes an unusual turn.

Superbad duo, Jonah Hill and Emma Stone play the two main leads, Netflix also confirmed that Sally Field, Justin Theroux, Julia Garner and Jemima Kirke will also star in the series.

Emma Stone stars as Annie Landsberg, a struggling New Yorker who can't stop thinking about her failed relationships with her mother and sister.

Jonah Hill plays Owen Milgrim, who is part of a scandalous and wealthy family, and has schizophrenia.

All 10 episodes will be available to stream on Netflix on Friday 21 September- just in time for a weekend binge watch.

Emma gave an interview about Maniac to Elle Magazine. She said: "The thing I liked about 'Maniac' was that it's about people who have their own internal struggles and are trying to fix them with a pill.

"But you see over the course of the show that human connection and love is really the only thing that gets us through life. I liked that idea."

She added: "I love Jonah [Hill]. I had worked with him on the first movie I ever so it was, like, 11 years later.

"Obviously lots of things have happened in the past 11 years, so it was nice to just get to be around each other."

Netflix have also announced that their latest psychological thriller Hold The Dark will be arriving this month.

The movie is based on the novel of the same name by William Giraldi, and follows wolf expert Russell Core (Westworld star Jeffrey Wright) who is investigating a series of missing children cases, and it looks gripping.

Russell travels to a remote village in the depths of Alaska, where distraught villagers believe that the town's kids have all been kidnapped by wild wolves in the snowy forests.

The Netflix film also stars Big Little Lies' Alexander Skarsgård and Mad Max actress Riley Keough as married couple Vernon and Medora Sloane, whose young son has gone missing and Russell is trying to find.

Medora, the boy's mum, tells the retired naturalist in the film's trailer that her husband is away at war, and needs 'something to show him' when he returns back from Iraq.

But as he tries to search for the wolves that took the young boy, Russell soon finds himself caught up in a harrowing mystery.
