Kissing Booth fans, big news!
The Kissing Booth 3 release date has finally been announced - and it's soon!
The third instalment will air on Netflix on 11th August, meaning we've got just months to wait. The news was announced in a Netflix summer preview clip, which you can watch below:
Star Joey King (who plays Elle) had originally teased the show would be coming this summer, while accepting a People's Choice Award.
"I am so excited, I wish it was tomorrow!" She said at the time. "I really, really wish it was tomorrow! Thank you guys so much! Thank you for loving this movie, and loving this character as much as I do."
It's believed the third movie will tackle Elle's challenges in deciding where she will attend college. She has been accepted to both Harvard, the same school Noah will attend, and Berkely, where BFF Lee has enrolled.
Speaking about what we can expect, director Vince Marcello told Variety: "[The Kissing Booth 3] is the culmination of this coming of age story - not just for Elle, but for Noah and Lee, as well.
"Although their paths are entwined, each has their own journey with a set of challenges that they need to overcome before closing the chapter of their lives that was adolescence and beginning their new journey into adulthood."
Luckily, the movie didn't suffer any Covid delays, because it was actually filmed at the same time as the second movie.
During a live YouTube event with the cast following the premiere of the second film, Joel Courtney (who plays Lee) explained: "We filmed two and three at the exact same time."
"It was the hardest secret to keep ever," added Joey.
While there's no trailer for the third movie just yet, we'll let you know as soon as it drops...
