The trailer for The Kissing Booth 3 has dropped ahead of the film's debut next month.

Watch the trailer below:

The final film in the Kissing Booth franchise will see Joey King's Elle faced with a big decision about where to go to college. One of the options on the table is moving across the country to go to Harvard and to close with her boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) or fulfil her promise and go to university with Lee (Joel Courtney) her lifelong best friend.

Judging by the trailer it won't be an easy decision for Elle who has the summer to make her decision. Elle, Noah, Lee and Rachel (Meganne Young) arrive at Mrs. Flynn's (Molly Ringwald) gorgeous beach house asking her if they can spend the summer taking care of the place.

BFFs Elle and Lee find an old 'beach bucket list' they made together years before filled with fun things they wanted to do before going to college, including spending time in the humongous donut in Randy's Donuts.

Elle receives a phone call from one of the schools and is told that they "will need a decision by tomorrow," throwing her plan to spend the whole summer making a decision into disarray.

The second film and the third film were shot at the same time in South Africa in 2019. This meant the cast and crew were mostly unaffected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has shut down the production of hundreds of films and TV shows.

During a live YouTube event with the cast following the premiere of the second film, Joel Courtney (who plays Lee) explained: "We filmed two and three at the exact same time."

"It was the hardest secret to keep ever," added Joey King (who plays Elle).

Joey King revealed that the third film would be out during summer 2021 during her acceptance speech at the People's Choice Awards 2020 where she won Comedy Movie Star.

We now know that the film will debut 11th August on Netflix!
