The Investigator: A British Crime Story has just landed on Netflix - and we can feel a binge-watch coming on.
The true-crime documentary series focuses on a number of high profile crime cases and is presented by a former police officer, Mark Williams-Thomas.
The cop turned presenter has also worked on other crime series' and revisits a number of unsolved cases spanning over decades.

In a similar format to Netflix's Making a Murderer, when the first series launched four years ago, it investigated the 1985 murder of Carole Packman.
Although her husband, Russell Causley is serving a life sentence for her murder, Carole's body has never been found. But with the help of neighbours and friends, Mark begins to retrace Carole's steps.
Meanwhile, the second series which aired in 2018 saw Mark investigate two unsolved murders from the '80s, thought to be linked to two serial killers, Peter Tobin and Angus Sinclair.

Throughout the series, Mark speaks to police officers and eyewitnesses and even managed to unearth new information.
After the reinvestigation of Carole Packman's case, there was enough significant information to prompt Dorset Police into reopening the case and appointing a new senior investigating officer (SIO) to take on a full review.
Both series are now available to watch on Netflix. The first has four episodes while the second has three - so *technically* back-to-back watching of both isn't too far out of our binging capabilities.

And if that doesn't satisfy your true-crime obsession, Netflix viewers are admitting they're "hooked" to show, Safe.
The eight-part series has been created by the same man behind Netflix's The Stranger - and fans can't decide which they like more.
It focuses on Tom, a single dad whose wife Rachel sadly passed away a year before.

When Tom's eldest daughter goes missing, he takes a look at those closest to him. The show encourages us to ask ourselves, how well do we really know those we trust?
Fans have admitted to staying up all night watching it - which is good enough for us. Now, which one do we watch first?
