Holly Willoughby has revealed one 'horrendous' moment she endured while hosting I'm A Celebrity that never aired.

During a tipsy video call with Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes live on This Morning earlier this week, Holly was asked how she found her experience with the bugs.

And Holly had one simple word to describe it - "horrendous".

She explained: "I mean, it's been horrific. There was a bit, you know the coliseum and you had Fleur [East] and Sair [Khan], and they had the green ants? So this bit didn't make it to air, because I actually ran out.

"I was stood there, and one green ant bit me. And I burst into tears and I ran out of the coliseum. I was so embarrassed that I was crying.

"I was sort of laughing but sort of crying, and there were the red curtains and I opened the curtains and I went, 'Help me!'.

"And then I ran out and was so embarrassed, and it was at that moment that I was like, 'Right, you've got to pull yourself together now, because you can't be running out. You have to stay there and see it through to the end'."

Despite having a few unfortunate encounters with the creepy crawlies, Holly described her time hosting with Declan Donnelly on I'm A Celebrity as 'amazing'.

Chatting to Phillip and Rochelle with a margarita in hand, Holly said: "Everything wants to eat you, everything wants to bite you. I've never been up this late!"

She also spoke out about her strange working hours while in the jungle.

Holly revealed she would often go to bed at 5.30pm to get up at 2am for a busy day of presenting I'm A Celeb alongside Dec.

She quipped: "So, there's no night time, I've just walked out the wrap party!"
