Netflix has unveiled the first official photograph of The Crown's new Prince Phillip, who will be played by Outlander and Game of Thrones star Tobias Menzies.
The image was posted on The Crown's Twitter with a one word caption of 'Ambition', and shows the 44-year-old actor staring out into the distance.
Tobias Menzies took over royal duties from Matt Smith in March and began production on season three earlier this summer, which covers the royal family from 1964 to 1976.
It's the first glimpse fans have had since Menzies new role was announced and fans haven't been disappointed.
One fan tweeted: "It's a big YES from me," while another added: "Oh my god the level of makeup is spectacular! Truly cannot wait!"
A third simply posted: "He's perfect."
Fans are now eagerly awaiting their first glimpse of Tobias opposite his on-screen wife Olivia Colman, who will take over the role of Queen Elizabeth II from Claire Foy.
Speaking when it was announced that Olivia would be portraying Queen Elizabeth, the actress said: "I'm so thrilled to be part of The Crown.
"I was utterly gripped watching it, a proper 'just one more' feeling. I think Claire Foy is an absolute genius. She's an incredibly hard act to follow.
"I'm basically going to rewatch every episode and copy her!"
It was also announced earlier this year that Helena Bonham Carter will be appearing on screens as Princess Margaret.
Speaking on the Ocean's 8 red carpet Helena spoke about she is preparing for the role. She said: "It's exciting. We start in a few weeks, and I think we're all - we're completely terrified.
"I think also because the first two seasons were such a success, we have the onus of inheriting the responsibility of doing justice to all these genuinely famous people, and then on top of it, inheriting them from this previous generation of actors who've done such good jobs."
A date for the final series has not yet been announced by Netflix for season three, but rumours suggest that it might not be until 2019.
