Christmas season is well underway over at Netflix and the latest festive film which has left viewers crying their eyes out is... Christmas Chronicles 2.

The sequel to 2018's The Christmas Chronicles - starring Kurt Russell as Santa Clause and Goldie Hawn as Mrs. Claus - landed on the streamer on 25 November.

In the first film siblings Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), who attempt to capture Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.

It does not go to plan and the siblings accidentally crashed Santa's sleigh. But all was well in the end, when the pair teamed up with Santa and saved Christmas. In the second movie, the film will revisit Kate - now a teenager - and Teddy.

The sequel re-introduces us to Kate, now a cynical teenager, who is unhappy about spending a family Christmas trip in Mexico with her mom's new boyfriend and his son, Jack (Jahzir Bruno).

Kate decides to run away but Jack follows and they are both unexpectedly transported to the North Pole and the two must help save Christmas.
