An Eight-Part 'Marcella' Spin Off Set In Paris Is Being Made
Turns out, a French version of the British drama - which starred Anna Friel and was written by Hans Rosenfeld - is being made by channel TF1, Deadline reports.
Titled Rebecca, the series will be set in Paris and is set to be distributed internationally.
As yet, we don't yet have details of a release date, or when it might air in the UK - but we'll update you as soon as we know more.
Fans will remember that the original Marcella ran for a palpitation-inducing three seasons on ITV.
The series delved deep into the mental health issues of detective Marcella (Friel) as she returns to work after ten years to take on the mother of all murder cases.
On her hunt for a killer, we watched Marcella come to terms with marriage troubles, memory loss, trauma and parenting woes.
Show writer Rosenfeld already had impressive TV credentials, being the creator of the Swedish-Danish production The Bridge.
